Monticello

The back view of the house.
We also had the chance to go to Monticello--Thomas Jefferson's home. We told Carson we were going to Mr. Jefferson's house, so that's what he called it for the whole day. We were going to go on Saturday, but the kids didn't nap and Abby was not happy, so we went by ourselves on Sunday.

Here's Carson in front of Jefferson's grave in the back of the house. I think he was a little confused why we were going to someones house who was dead. He also kept asking if Mr. Jefferson had a toy room.
Abby and I in the gardens. She was also very happy while on this outting. Generally most of the pictures of her on this roadtrip are pictures of her sitting in her stroller. There was also a fish pond that was full of tadpoles. Carson liked to watch them swim around. He got a chance to hold one and as soon as he did, he said "ugh!" and put it back in the pond.
