Trip Out West: Part 2

Part 2 of our trip consists of our time in Utah.  We rented a minivan in Arizona and drove to Utah.

During our drive from Arizona to Utah, we found a random dinosaur museum in Blanding.  It was a good resting spot for us.

Since we were staying in Provo, we had to make a trip to BYU to check out the campus changes (and do some shopping at the bookstore)

I miss seeing those mountains!

Meeting Kaylee for the first time

Thanks Aubrey and Ryan for hosting a BBQ at your house!

Visit to Great Grandma Jean's house.  The kids absolutely LOVED it there!

Carson taught Great Grandma Jean how to draw dinosaurs and they made this collage to hang up

Thanks for having us over Grandma!  My kids still talk about how fun it was to spend time with you.
Mission Reunion at Andrew's Mission President's home

A visit to the Utah Museum of Natural History (This is Dr. Scott's museum...the guy on Dinosaur Train).  This is a Utahceratops

They had a program called "Drawing with Dinosaurs" going on that day.  Carson was in heaven!

They also had cartoonists from different newspapers there doing drawings throughout the exhibit.

Carson scored 2 to take home.  They are hanging in his room

The storage room with the Cosmoceratops skull in the background (as in Cosmo, the BYU mascot).  We have to check out all the new dinosaurs that are being discovered

Visiting Mallory's house before hitting the road
We had a whirlwind visit in Utah (only 4 days), but it was loads of fun and I wish we had taken more pictures!  Oh well, onto part 3.  CALIFORNIA!
