Annapolis, MD

Before we made the trip to my parents house for Christmas, we decided to take a little trip as a family.  We had some free nights at a hotel to use up!  We decided to try Annapolis, MD because it was relatively close to us and only 40 minutes from my parents home.  We weren't very good at taking pictures on this trip, mainly because our camera battery died and we weren't good to charge it.
We took a tour of the Naval Academy.  This is a picture inside one of the buildings.  I think it was a dorm?  Could be wrong on that.  So gorgeous!

The kiddos outside on a balcony.  As you can tell, they were very interested in what the tour guide had to say.  I stayed inside with Kayla and the double stroller.

Here we are touring the Capital Building.  This was a Christmas tree in the hallway.  The kids had fun running around it and looking at all the home made ornaments.

Such a happy baby!

With good ole' George Washington

Carson standing where George Washington stood when he resigned.

Someday he might think that was cool.

Andrew sure did!

We also walked around the harbor and saw some fun sail boats.  I think our kids favorite part of the trip was going swimming in the hotel pool 2 days in a row.  All in all a fun trip.  Not a whole lot to do in the winter time, but we still managed to have fun.  We are planning on going back in July to see all the BIG boats when they come into port.
