California

Even though Courtney wasn't up for traveling, she was nice enough to let Carson and me go to California to meet up with my fam. Here's the whole gang the first night of the trip.

Carson loved the beach. He didn't spend much time in the water but loved the sand.

Gabe was deeply involved in an excavation project.

He was disappointed when the tide took control.

Back at the resort, Carson was kind enough to give us tennis lessons.

I was impressed at how well Brittany incorporated her ballet skills into the sport.

Carson and the cousins made their own fun while the adults did other boring things in old town San Diego.

At the Mormon Battallion the kids got to dress up in the soldier gear.

And later they panned for gold.

Carson got to ride a real pony at the carnival at the resort.

Here all of the grandkids (minus Abby) are sporting their new shirts crafted by Myhoa.

Carson and Corinne- best buds at Legoland.

Carson of course loved the dinosaur section of Legoland the best.

After we got home, I realized that this was the only picture of both Carson and me. I like Corinne's expression in this one.

One happy little boy at the end of the day.

We also went to the Sea Life acquarium right next to Legoland.

The cousins are once again sporting new shirts made by Myhoa. Milly was sad that Abby didn't make the trip. Hopefully they'll see each other soon!
