Utah part 1

We were out in Utah for my baby sister's wedding this past week. While we were there, we promised Carson that we would go see some dinosaur museums. Did you know that BYU had a Paleontology museum? Neither did we until we happened upon a you tube video about a new dinosaur they had discovered. And of course Carson just had to see the new dinosaur. So here is part 1 of our trip: BYU dinosaurs!

The kids are roaring to go.
T-rex teeth aren't that sharp.

She's examing this sea monster skull. We might have another little paleontologist on our hands.

Somehow we suckered Andrew's sister Emily into coming with us. She's currently attending BYU. She got the pleasure of listening to Carson educate everyone on just about everything in this museum.
Posing by some dinosaur. Don't remember which one.

The museum wasn't that big, but we were there for a while. Carson insisted that we go around quite a few times. I think he was convinced that we really hadn't seen everything yet.

Here's the skull of the new dinosaur.

BYU students were working in a lab on the rest of the bones. They had a glass wall so you could see. Carson loved that. You could tell he was picturing himself back there cleaning up the bones.
More later!

So cute! My mom was telling us about Carson the paleontologist and all of the cute and amazing things he would say about dinosaurs. He is so smart!
