Back in July, Andrew and Carson went camping at home. He has wanted to go camping for a while and we weren't sure if we were going to make it this year, so we surprised him by setting up the 2-man tent in the family room.
The night started off with cooking our dinner over the "fire".
Abby enjoyed eating her camper dinner. She didn't get a hot dog, but she loved the bun and the watermelon.
Then it was smore time! Carson wasn't into eathing his the normal way. He wanted to eat his all apart.
Abby LOVED hers, if you couldn't tell.
What camping trip wouldn't be complete without snuggling up with daddy and watching Tarzan on tv? We hoped it would put him to sleep, but he decided to sleep in his own bed. Andrew didn't mind. That meant he didn't have to sleep on the couch. All in all, a fun night for Carson to spend with daddy.

We are excited that our kids are getting old enough that camping IS fun. We tried having a campout in our living room once and only two of us were left in the morning. Did Abby get her hair trimmed? Its cute!
Wow! What fun! I too would agree that no camping trip is complete until you can snuggle up and watch Tarzan. Good times!
That is so cool! What a fun family time! Abby is growing up! Her hair makes her look older than she is, it's so cute!
I remember Carson telling me about camping in the living room. He was so excited about it! Cute pictures
