Herndon Festival

On Saturday night, we attended the Herndon Festival. It's a 4-day event. It ran from Thursday to Sunday. Well since we have never attended, we had no idea what to expect. Who knew our little town could throw such a party! Apparently like 90,000 attend every year. It was packed!! They have shuttle buses that take you to the festival. It's in the town square. One street was full of food vendors (funnel cake was a must on our list), another with art and shopping vendors, 3 different music stages, and the carnival. We had such a blast! We didn't get home until 10:30, which is way late for Carson! He was a trooper. Here's some pics from our fun night out.

Here's Carson waiting to get on the Ferris Wheel. I was bored, so decided to try black & white pictures for a bit.
