So this morning Carson had his 18 month well visit. He did relatively well, considering the fact that he hates going to the doctor. He weighs 25 pounds 8 ounces (47th percentile), 33 5/8 inches long (87th percentile) and his head is a whopping 19 1/4 inches (76th percentile). We are very happy about the weight gain. He has gained 3 pounds 1 ounce since his last well visit, which is better than the 4 ounces he gained between his 12 and 15 month visit. He only had one pokie today instead of 2. So that was nice. They have now come out with the fluoride varnish that you can get on your babies teeth. You paint it on their teeth and it helps to prevent cavities. Since he doesn't drink a lot of water, I decided to give it a try. I guess it's like getting sealants for baby teeth. It lasts for 6 months, so when he goes in for his 2 year visit we can get it again. For $20, why not?
